Errington Cedar Products Ltd. manufactures Western Red Cedar
and Yellow Cedar lumber products. Working in an
environmentally friendly manner, quality and service is our
business. Since 1986, our commitment and consistency have
made us a recognized leader not only in our domestic market
but also in key markets around the world.
The products sold by Meeker Lumber are produced at our state
of the art sawmill located in Errington, B.C. on Vancouver
Island. Known as Errington Cedar Products, the operation is
a strategic partnership co-owned by its founders Brad Meeker
and Albert Orcutt. Operating on a
19 acre site, we manufacture clear dimension lumber,
timbers, door and window components and siding and fascia
blanks. As our mill can grade lumber by grain and color, our
customers are always assured of consistent quality in old
growth fine grain cedar. Our production flexibility means no
project is too small or too large.
Thanks to long standing relationships with major logging
concerns, governments and First Nations, Meeker Lumber and
Errington Cedar Products have access to stable sources of
log supply. Annually, the companies produce and consume more
than ten million board feet (approx. 60,000 m3) of raw
material. This very solid, secure timber base along with FSC
certification ensure customers have consistent access to
sustainable Western Red Cedar.
